Zolitūde: buses No. 8, 44 and 53 to return to their normal routes and closed bus stops to reopen on November 26
"Rīgas satiksme" reminds that due to rescue works in Zolitūde routes of buses No. 8, 44 and 53 were changed and 8 bus stops were changed. On the way from the city centre to Zolitūde, buses No. 8, 44 and 53 were directed to Apuzes Street, then to Jūrkalnes Street, Jāņa Endzelīna Street to the terminal in Zolitūde. On the way to the city centre buses No. 8, 44 and 53 were directed from the terminal in Zolitūde to Jāņa Endzelīna Street, then in Jūrkalnes Street, Apuzes Street and further by the usual route.
These changes caused eight bus stops, "Anniņmuižas Street", "Parking-lot", "Rostokas Street", "Zolitūdes Street", "Mežmalas Street", "Gramzdas Street", "Zantes Street" and "Priedaines Street", to be closed.
These changes were set for an unlimited period. Today, on November 25, the rescue forces allowed the public transport traffic in Zolitūde to be restored, and it’s planned that in the morning of November 26 the traffic of buses No. 8, 44 and 53 on the usual routes will be fully restored.
